High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) is the gold standard for peptide purity testing. It separates compounds based on their physical and chemical properties, allowing quantification of the target peptide relative to impurities. A purity result of 99%+ via HPLC means that at least 99% of the detected material is the target compound.
A proper COA should include: the compound name and sequence, batch number, synthesis date, HPLC purity percentage with chromatogram, mass spectrometry data confirming molecular weight, and the testing laboratory’s details.
